As an attempt to exhibit multiplicity within identity, a single sentence interview was conducted among the community of San Francisco Art Institute;
“How do you define yourself?”
The responses were unique, genuine and all incite curiosity. WE are never just one thing, and what we are seen as is not all that we are.
We deserve to understand each other.

The video text in this piece is a compilation of responses, shown anonymously together, translating the multiplicity of identity.
Each person expressed themselves in a unique way. Given a safe, open platform they were able to articulate themselves through an uninterrupted view, as they wish to be seen in the world. Without socially determined expectations.
Collaborators included below offered Video, Audio or Written responses. Special thanks to Julia Fairbrother, Daniel Deosaran, Frank Nunez, Chris Paddock and Oscar Lopez.
